Membership at Hair & Beauty Sans Borders (HBSB) is open to all individuals & businesses active in any area within the beauty industry wishing to join a global community and network that is wholly dedicated to the beauty industry. Membership at HBSB is the first step in getting eligible to apply for other HBSB services.
Due to its Membership Enhancement Program (MEP), Hair & Beauty Sans Borders (HBSB) is always welcoming new members with open arms! All individuals and businesses in the beauty industry from around the world are welcome to become a member and join the community!
Who is Individual Membership for?
- Amateurs, apprentices, students enrolled in and attend beauty-related training courses and regularly exposed to practical learning environments
- Licensed professionals and trainers certified to teach cosmetology or any beauty-related topic
- Experienced or skillful individuals with some expertise at one or more beauty-related area who provide beauty services to the public (such as hair dressers, barbers, nail experts, skin therapists, masseurs, make-up artists, tattoo artists, etc.)
- Dealers, distributors, advisers of cosmetic products
Who is Business Membership for?
- Businesses that manufacture or produce beauty products for sale to wholesalers or distributors in the professional beauty industry
- Businesses whose primary business is purchasing beauty products and reselling those products as retail or at wholesale to beauty salons, barbershops, and licensed professionals
- Businesses that provide professional beauty services to the public (such as beauty salons, nail salons, chains of salons, studios, barbershops, spas, massage parlors, etc.)
- Businesses that educate the public about beauty and hold professional training courses on various beauty-related topics (such as make-up academies, training centers, cosmetology schools, etc.)
The membership in HBSB will be permanent against a trivial membership fee and is available in two types and two levels. The to-be member may choose to go for an individual membership (as amateur or professional) or for the business membership.
HBSB registers all members’ details on its directory database. Anybody can access, review, and verify these details via the member’s unique ID. This ID may be found on the certificate of recognition as an approved member that HBSB bestows its members. The certificate will also reveal if the member is an amateur, apprentice or a professional.
Amateur or apprentice members can request for an upgrade of their status to a professional member at any time. Of course they will need to present some proving documents while requesting for that. Also, they will be required to pay the respective fees upfront. And the HSBS team will then assess the possibility of such an upgrade.

1_Fill out the online HBSB “Application Form” an agree with the terms of service*
2_Pay the invoice provided by HBSB and send the payment receipt to HBSB*
3_Wait for the membership certificate to be emailed to you*
