What is HBSB?
HBSB (short for Hair & Beauty Sans Borders) is a not-for-profit private association aiming to unite and support the global community of professionals in the beauty industry. HBSB offers its support to its members by serving as a unified source of registration.
Who can join HBSB?
All interested professional individuals and businesses active in the beauty sector from around the globe can join HBSB community. Amateurs can also join the community through a different plan. Candidates must first become an HBSB member.
How to join HBSB?
All interested candidates (individuals/businesses) can apply to become an HBSB member to be able to join the HBSB community. This may be done directly through the “Online Application Form” on HBSB website or through any HBSB regional agents around the world. Application is easy and comes through submission of some personal details and proving documents to be verified by HBSB.
What are HBSB membership types?
There are two main types: Individual & Business. Individual membership is comes in two levels: Amateur & Professional and is open to all individuals active in the beauty sector; while business membership is open to all businesses active in the beauty sector.
There is yet another type of membership called "Honorary Membership" which is only offered by HBSB (on a selective basis) to some outstanding figures with the highest contribution and impression in the world of beauty. This type of membership cannot be applied for, and is only decided by HBSB from time to time through some global market observance.
What are membership benefits?
Community members at “Professional level” (i.e. professional individuals & businesses) can enjoy extra certification and registration service support from HBSB.
“Amateur Membership” does not entail any extra certification and registration service support from HBSB, however, amateurs can upgrade to “Professional Membership” at any time by proving their qualifications.
Is membership free?
HBSB membership is not free, but it can be gained against a minimal membership fee that is paid only once by the candidate. You may check out HBSB service fees here.
Who is an HBSB associate?
HBSB associates (agents) are individuals or centers approved and recognized by HBSB as local and regional representatives to help our global presence. They are responsible to deal with all applicant inquiries and needs in their region on be half of HBSB headquarters. This is for the ease of our international community to have more immediate accessibility to HBSB network when needed. It also ensures quicker service provision on our part. How to become an HBSB associate?
If you are an individual or a company interested in representing HBSB in your region and assisting the local presence and service coverage of HBSB to the beauty sector in your area, and earning some income at the same time, please feel free to write us at info@hb-sb.net to discuss the possibility. Please make sure to define your email subject as “HBSB associate Position”, and remember to mention your city and country of residence in your application.
Where to apply for HBSB services?
In areas where HBSB has local or regional associates (agents) available, you must necessarily submit your application to those agents. And if you can find no such associates in your city or country, you may directly submit your application to HBSB headquarters by filling out the online application form which is a request to join HBSB and become an HBSB member at first place! Several HBSB agents available; which to go with?
In some countries, cities, and even local regions there may be more than one HBSB approved associate (agent) assigned to provide better and faster service. It really makes no difference which one you may select. They are all the same and HBSB service fees are also the same all around the world. But before doing anything, make sure that the person or center is a real HBSB associate (agent). You can check out HBSB global presence and approved local agents here.

I am an apprentice. Can I join HBSB?
Yes, you can! There is an “Individual Membership” level that is apt for all amateurs, apprentices, and students. Anyone can apply for this type of membership as this is the lowest type of membership available in the community. Later, you will be able to upgrade to professional level when you can show you have gained the required qualifications.
I want a training certificate; what can I do?
As a student participating in a training course, you cannot directly ask HBSB for a training certificate. You need to be introduced to HBSB by your trainer or the training center where you have accomplished the course, provided that the trainer or the training center in question is already an HBSB member. If you are not sure, you may ask them!
What are HBSB services?
HBSB provides a variety of certification and registration services to its members. Some of them include: certificate of approval, certificate of recognition, certificate of expertise, and certificate of training. You may read more about HBSB services here.
I am a trainer. How can HBSB support me?
HBSB offers great support to all individuals as well as centers involved in educational activities. You could ask HBSB to provide you with its certification and/or registration services as required and as desired by you. If you already have your own certificate design, you could keep using it, and HBSB can register your training courses’ records and provide you with the registration code. And if you don’t have your own certification system, HBSB could provide you with certificates of training with every registration request. The certification is part of registration and comes at no extra fee. It’s all up to you to select the type of service you need.
How much do HBSB services cost?
All HBSB service fees are highly affordable. In fact, according to HBSB supportive policies toward its members, all registration/certification services are provided at very competitive prices. You may check out HBSB service fees here.
What are HBSB pricing plans?
HBSB service fees are determined at fixed prices and thus unlike other communities, there are not several pricing plans or recurring fees. All you pay for is only once, and the service remains with you for life! You may check out HBSB service fees here.
How quick is the service provided?
You can expect to get registered with HBSB and receive your certificate in your email within 24 to 48 hours (depending on holidays) from the date you submit your application. In some cases same-day service is also available.
In what format are the certificates provided?
Due to its commitment to help save the planet earth by supporting the movements that promote the protection of the environment and trees, HBSB policy is to avoid printing on paper as much as possible because less paper use means less trees cut. Thus we provide you with the requested certificates in the digital format as PDF. If you may wish to have a printed certificate though, you can print it on your own, but you are requested to use recycled paper for that purpose!
How long can I keep my certificate?
All HBSB certification and registration services are permanent and without any time limit or expiry date. You can enjoy having them at lowest fees as HBSB is here for you and will be here to support the community for ever!
What payment methods are accepted by HBSB?
Modern technology has brought us the wonderful power of cryptocurrencies which are faster, more secure, and more cost-effective; and sooner or later they are going to replace the traditional banking systems in the world. HBSB highly believes in this new payment method so much so that it currently does all its financial transactions through this method only. We accept the payable fees in stable coins as each stable coin equals one USD and the total invoiced amount can easily be calculated in the equivalent amount in the respective stable coin. HBSB accepts only stable coin of its choice that will be determined in the invoice at the time it is provided to the paying party. (Please not that this is mainly for our global associates and HBSB does not directly accept payments from applicants who are from regions where HBSB local agents are present and active)
How do I pay for the service?
Once your application is processed by HBSB, you will receive an invoice emailed to you. In the invoice, you are provided with the guidelines on how to pay. (Please not that if there is a local HBSB agent present in your area, all the process from application to payment to receiving the service will be done through that HBSB associate and you do not need to contact HBSB HQ for any of that!)
